The absence of Tiger Woods from the PGA Tour Policy Board and as chairman of the Future Competitions Committee isn’t likely to stall or even slow down the Tour’s timeline for reworking its schedule and tournament structure in time for a 2027 rollout.

Woods has stepped away from golf and is seeking treatment for mental health after he was involved in a rollover auto accident March 27 in Jupiter Island, Florida, in which he was arrested and charged with DUI.
