Some is better than none
The Official World Golf Ranking changed course this week and is giving LIV Golf points for top 10 finishes in 2026. That does not sit well with LIV, which still wants more.

In the Forecaddie’s world, you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
That is exactly what happened earlier this week when the LIV Golf took an aggressive stance against the Official World Golf Ranking, which for the first time is including the 5-year-old league in its weekly rankings.
In a 180-degree turn, the OWGR, which decided over a year ago that LIV was not worthy of world ranking points, reversed course and made a significant compromise. In 2026, it is now awarding points to players who finish in the top 10 of LIV league events.
